The IET Birmingham: Austin Court is a gem of a venue, located right bang in the middle of the city. Nestled next to the canal and only a hop skip and jump from Brindley Place, Austin Court really is perfectly located.As you know, the folks at Clearwater Towers take sustainability and community involvement very seriously and Austin court shares this at their very heart. As a part of the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET). The venue has an industry-leading environmental policy and is a charity, but they are ‘not for profit’. Meaning revenue is injected back into good work.
The venue is Georgian in design with plenty of light, exposed beams and wooden floors giving it a unique, warm character, entirely different to the usual conference environment.
The heart of the venue is the impressive tiered lecture theatre which has built in AV. Cinema style screen and chairs that are beyond comfy. Their ‘all inclusive’ pricing means all AV is included and as it is built in. There are no wires, fuss or set up.
Their adjacent meeting rooms are equally impressive. Offer fantastic value when you consider the levels of AV included in the price.
