Creating an award-winning exhibition solution for a global construction equipment manufacturer
We created, built and ran an exhibition space solution for one of the world's largest manufacturers of construction vehicles and equipment, for the Plantworx Construction Machinery Show 2017.
The Client
The Mecalac Group provides a wide range of innovative, compact, modern equipment for the construction industry. It is a world-leader in designing and producing innovative construction machines for urban construction.
The Event
More than 12,300 people and 395 exhibitors attended Plantworx 2017 at Bruntingthorpe Proving Ground, Leicestershire, over three days. Our solution centred on an outside exhibition space with vehicle demonstrations, fenced off by branded safety barriers with commentary provided by professional actresses. We also opted for a large clear marquee. This proved to be a masterstroke with three inches of torrential rain falling on day one of Plantworx. Inside, the marquee became a branded meeting and product display space, providing clients with a welcome environment to network and hopefully make a deal. The space was designed into specific zones to include product display, meeting areas, hospitality and catering. Catering included artisan coffee and teas along with a traditional English menu offering brilliant pub style dishes. Mecalac won the best exhibitor award for the event.
